Richard 'Jaws' Kiel interviewed by David LettermanIn 1985 Richard Kiel appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman to promote the western Pale Rider. They touch on his role as fan-favorite Bond Villain of the 1970s, Jaws in The Spy Who Loved MeThe Spy Who Loved Me and MoonrakerMoonraker, how uncomfortable those metal teeth were, how the gentle giant coped with riding a horse in the new Clint Eastwood movie and some of the jobs Kiel had worked prior to acting. I think Dave dropped the ball when he didn't ask Richard for a quick demonstration of his Elvis Impersonator days. Richard Kiel comes across as a quite a laid back and funny guy, and I would have liked to hear more from him.

This video is from an original betamax recording from the archives of Ray Glasser.
